Affliate Staff
Girls Inc. of Delaware is a nonprofit organization that serves girls ages 6-18 at numerous sites across every county in Delaware. Our evidence-based programming is delivered by trained professionals who focus on developing the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment.

We are committed to the highest levels of transparency and are rated as a Gold-level participant on Guidestar.org.
Our History
In 1945, fourteen charter Girls Clubs joined together to form a national organization. In 1990 the Girls Club of America changed their name to Girls Incorporated.
Girls Incorporated of Delaware had its beginning in 1950 as the Girls Club of Wilmington as the Soroptimist Club of Wilmington and Mary Dennison discussed the establishment of a Girls Club of Wilmington.
