During this challenging time, we want you to know WE ARE HERE.
Girls Inc. of Delaware is able to offer our CyberLearning Programs for free due to the funding we have received. This funding requires that we accomplish certain goals in our CyberLearning Program.
As a result of COVID-19, schools have struggled to stay open and parents are desperate for a place conducive enough for their child to learn. Girls Inc. is here and we are not your typical after CyberLearnig pod. We begin our pick up around 7:30 a.m. and drop off around 3:30. A member of our staff will stay until 5:30 p.m. for parents who get off work late and prefer to pick up their child. Monday through Friday, we deliver mission-based programs during downtime in between class schedules designed to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
To participate in our CyberLearning Program, your daughter will need to attend a minimum of 3 days per week and until 5:30 each day to ensure that she receives the full benefit of the programs we provide. If you are unable to make that commitment, we hope you’ll keep us in mind for the future.
In addition, you and your daughter must be prepared to comply with the behavioral agreement. Our program sites are “no bullying” zones and require good behavior to ensure we are able to fulfill our mission. Our staff will let you know if your daughter is having trouble behaving appropriately and she will have an opportunity to improve her behavior. In order for all the girls to thrive and succeed, it’s important that they support the creation of a positive learning environment.
If you support the work we are trying to do to make a difference in the lives of all the girls we serve, then we can’t wait for your daughter to begin attending our program.
